Common Grind co-working

Well done Elliot for creating such a warm and welcoming office space! This is the perfect place for anyone running their own business or working from home who wants to experience an office environment again. There is always a great mix of people working here, and always someone to grab a coffee and a chat in the kitchen with. It's central location makes it ideal for popping out at lunchtime and Royston has a great range of eateries and sandwich shops. The soundproofed booths are ideal for private online work meetings and in the office itself there is a lovely blend of quiet time to get your head down, interspersed with occasional chats with other workers. I really enjoy using this facility as it breaks the week up and I always feel welcome and comfortable. Highly recommended!!

Ended up here by accident after a train had to terminate at Royston. Common Grind was an absolute life saver, and Elliot could not have been kinder or more helpful. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, modern space with character and laid-back yet respectful hosts. I would also recommend it to anyone looking for a backup if their train is delayed, though I'll be sure to come back again even if not!

I find a trip to Common Grind for the day really helps break up the monotony of home working and focuses the mind. Elliot is a great host, the other users are all really friendly and the environment is positive. And Elliot's coffees are great! I thoroughly recommend this valuable Royston co-working space. Common Grind has been an absolute godsend for me. I live in a particularly rural area (which is great most of the time) but when I need to get out of the house and be in civilisation, Common Grind is exactly what I need. It’s a quiet space where I can get my head down and write as well as being able to pop into town (you’re on top of everything Royston has to offer) and get the odd errand run. Elliot is fantastic, too, even being able to buzz you in when he’s in another country! He’s warm and friendly, and because it’s his working space too, he understands that you’re there to work, too. The building has great facilities, too. Nice kitchen, great vibe, and the architectural details are beautiful.

This co-working space is incredible. The location is great as is close to the high street of Royston. It happened that I needed a place to have a few video calls and a bit of work done in 2 mornings last week while my kid was staying at home during summer holidays. Elliot was very friendly and replied me promptly about the available of space. I was amazed by such a nice working place at my first visit with WIFI, spacious desk, extra monitor and the booths for having video calls without disturbing others. I would highly recommend Common Grind if you need a space to work outside besides looking for a cafe. By the way, Elliot is nice to chat with and I like his coffee, too.
