I love Hive Co-working. As a self-employed person, it is such a treat to go to a dedicated work space instead of a corner of the home with many distractions. Being surrounded by other self-employed creatives is so inspiring too, and its so friendly. I love the social events too, and the location of the Umbrella Center is in a great spot in whitstable.
An amazing co-working space in a great location. I've been a member for a year and it's made my relocation to Whitstable so much better, great community of people who work there and access to the umbrella centre for lunches. It's small, but has everything I needed from the printer, good wifi, a call room for when I didn't want to disturb others. Lots of flexibility. Also great for a drop in day if you're visiting whitstable and working for a few days down there
Fantastic co-working space. An incredibly friendly environment to work and meet people. Fellow coworkers are so supportive, we discuss ideas, and take turns putting the kettle on :).
Hive has completely changed freelancing for me. No more coffee shop hopping or pulling my hair out working from home! I now have a base for my business, a sanctuary for chaotic days and have even made friends and colleagues. It's quiet, bright, super friendly, reasonably priced and has everything you need to get through the day (reliable wi-fi, endless tea and coffee). I actually miss it when I go into London for work. Well done guys for creating such a positive and supportive space.
This is such a positive, uplifting place to work with a low key, easygoing atmosphere and a great community of people. Plus there's the amazing Umbrella Cafe on tap!
