I spent around 4 years at Regus Bournemouth, so it clearly wasn't all bad. For a start-up or solo business owner looking for a cheap and cheerful serviced office, it does the job. I'd describe it as the serviced office equivalent of a 3-star hotel: functional, affordable and no-frills. However, as your business grows and you start employing people, I think there are better options available. My biggest frustration was the lighting. The offices have motion-sensor lights that automatically switch off if you don't move for a few minutes. On numerous occasions, this meant the lights went out during client video calls, particularly on winter afternoons when it was already dark outside. Nothing says professionalism quite like suddenly having to wave your arms around in the middle of a sales call to get the lights back on. It was also one of the reasons I delayed restarting my podcast while based there, as it made recording later in the day impossible. What made this even more frustrating was seeing lights left on 24/7 in unoccupied offices elsewhere in the building. I requested a manual switch and was initially told I would need to pay for it myself. A solution was eventually installed, but only after around 12–18 months of asking. Temperature control was another issue. Some offices appear to share air conditioning systems, meaning rooms could be uncomfortably cold during both summer and winter. The centre itself feels quite corporate, white and bland. Tea and coffee are charged as an additional service at around £35 per month, which always felt excessive for something so basic. The final straw for me was a leak in my office during my last year there. While the source was apparently a student building above, it still took around four months to resolve. During that time I had a black bucket next to my desk collecting water, which I regularly had to empty. No discount, compensation or reduction in restoration charges was offered despite the disruption. There were also periods where building maintenance and security felt lacking. For example, when the car park barrier was broken, unauthorised individuals were able to access the building after hours, and one occupier reportedly found a syringe in a bathroom. To be fair, there are positives. The private phone booths in the business lounge are genuinely useful and provide a good space for confidential calls away from your office. Chris on reception is always friendly and helpful, although many issues seem difficult for the local team to resolve because decisions are heavily centralised within the wider Regus organisation. Overall, if you're a freelancer, consultant or small business just starting out and want a flexible office at a reasonable cost, Regus Bournemouth can work well. It certainly served a purpose for me during the early stages of growing my business. But after several years, I found the operational frustrations, slow response to issues and corporate approach outweighed the benefits.

We popped in here on Monday after a long weekend in Bournemouth. It’s a great spot for getting some work done before heading out. Location: Super convenient, located right near the station. Staff: The reception team is very friendly and made us feel welcome immediately. Workspace: The lounge is exceptionally bright and airy with a great atmosphere. It had everything we needed for a full day of work. Highly recommended if you need a professional, well-lit space in the area.

I don’t even know where to start. I’m appalled that this space can call itself a "serviced office," when "service" is the last word I would use to describe the experience here. The state of the facilities is frankly unacceptable. The offices are unhygienic, but more concerning is the complete lack of security. On multiple occasions, we have had unauthorised individuals wandering into the building to use the showers. Having strangers roam a professional workspace makes the environment feel unsafe and entirely compromised. Beyond the physical state of the building, their business practices are predatory. They withdrew funds from our credit card without authorisation. After failing to resolve this with their team, we were forced to dispute the charges as fraud through our bank. We have exhausted every internal option to resolve these complaints, only to be met with silence or incompetence. I am now officially escalating this to their head office, as this location is unfit for business.

I’ve had an exceptional experience at Regus Bournemouth - Oxford Point. Phil and Chris are an absolute credit to the centre. They are always professional, approachable, and genuinely committed to making sure everything runs perfectly. Their attention to detail, responsiveness, and willingness to go above and beyond never goes unnoticed. No request is ever too much trouble, and they consistently create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere! The premises are immaculate, the offices, communal areas, and meeting rooms are always spotless and beautifully maintained. It’s clear that a lot of pride is taken in keeping the space to such a high standard. With 24/7 access, a stunning environment, and a management team that truly cares, I honestly couldn’t ask for a better place to work. I would highly recommend this centre to any business looking for a professional, well-managed, and inspiring workspace in Bournemouth.

I have been using the services of Regus Bournemouth for 18 months and have always found the staff, in particular Chris and Phil to be incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. They are very attentive and are constantly finding ways to make the facilities more user friendly and creating a welcoming environment. The offices are comfortable, clean, functional and well maintained but it is the staff that make this a space that I look forward to working in and returning to.
