SEESAW Creative Coworking and Event Space in Manchester City Centre

SEESAW is an independent creative workspace and business venue based at Standard House on Princess Street, Manchester. Set within a characterful city-centre building, the venue brings together flexible working, private studios, meeting facilities and event space in a sociable, design-led environment. It is particularly well suited to freelancers, creative professionals, start-ups and established teams seeking a distinctive alternative to a conventional office.

Flexible Workspaces for Manchester’s Creative Community

The workspace options at SEESAW are designed to support different working patterns, from occasional use to a more permanent business base. Coworking provides an adaptable setting for individuals who want to work independently while remaining connected to a wider professional community. Shared work areas also create opportunities for informal conversation and collaboration without compromising the need for productive desk space.

For businesses requiring greater privacy and consistency, SEESAW provides dedicated workspace and private studio options. These spaces combine the independence of a self-contained office with access to the venue’s wider communal environment, making them suitable for small companies, project teams and growing creative businesses.

Meeting spaces are available for conversations, presentations and collaborative sessions away from the main working areas. The venue can also accommodate events, offering an atmospheric Manchester location for creative, cultural and professional gatherings.

Facilities and Shared Amenities

SEESAW combines practical business facilities with carefully considered communal areas. Reliable internet connectivity supports everyday work, video calls and digital projects, while meeting rooms give members and visiting teams a professional place to host clients or work together.

Shared spaces encourage members to move between focused work and informal interaction throughout the day. The venue’s café adds another useful dimension, providing a relaxed setting for coffee, casual meetings and breaks. This blend of workspace, hospitality and event facilities helps create a flexible environment rather than a traditional serviced office centre.

Princess Street Location and Manchester Transport Links

Located on Princess Street in central Manchester, SEESAW places businesses within easy reach of the city’s commercial, cultural and hospitality amenities. The surrounding area includes independent cafés, restaurants, shops and entertainment destinations, providing convenient options for lunch, client meetings and after-work socialising.

Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Oxford Road railway stations are both accessible from this part of the city centre, alongside Metrolink and local bus services. The central position is practical for members commuting from across Greater Manchester and for visitors arriving from elsewhere in the UK.

Why Choose SEESAW?

SEESAW offers more than a desk by combining flexible coworking in Manchester city centre with private studios, meeting facilities, event space and a café-led social setting. Its independent character, creative community and prominent Princess Street location make it an appealing choice for individuals and teams looking for a flexible, inspiring and well-connected place to work.

Such a lovely spot to work with gentle views. Ample space on the laptop bar, good coffee and delicious Korean food. Everyone was super friendly and the vibe was perfect for a day of work away from home. If you're staying or living in Manchester I'd highly recommend.

Not a great greeting. Noisy coffee machine drowned out our order. Guy serving looked miserable. Coffee wasn’t anything special. Won’t be going back.

This cafe is a hidden gem in the heart of the city. The coffee is outstanding, the pastries are fresh, and atmosphere & view are perfect for a relaxing morning or chill afternoon.
