Reviews
Very good facilities, excellent lunch and refreshments.
Loved the river walk at Durham just spoilt by 2 loose dogs that nearly knocked my husband over & then the verbal abuse that followed from the owner that called him a grumpy old man!! Don't the dogs on leads apply to Durham. Also no way of getting up to the town as all steps & I am unable to do steps. Apert from that a most lovely walk
Quite out of the way if your coming by public transport but had ample parking from what I could see for cars. Space and facilities were great and for the well over 200 in the conference space we were easily contained with decent audio for speakers.
Beautiful City, full of History, Culture, amazing sites and great places to eat drink and shop
Plenty of parking if you keep going past the front of the building and into the gravelled car park to the side, plenty of breakout / workshop rooms, nice big conference room, good variety of food provided for dinner, and a nice big reception area ideal for stalls. I would recommend you take a cushion to sit on if you suffer in any way from sitting for extended periods of time as the seats aren't the comfiest. I also recommend leaving before 4pm as you will get stuck in the standstill traffic with everyone else also trying to leave the industrial estate. Overall a great day and great venue.
