The Quad Cambridge

We were here for years. I can tell you, the service and infrastructure is so terrible we wanted to leave within a year. The contract was predatory enough to keep us stranded. If you like offices with no heating in the winter, no water for months at a time, out of order 1970's-looking toilets, no air conditioning for months before it's fixed during summer, terrible Internet, broken and frankly unsafe-feeling elevators, paper-thin walls, and management that don't frankly care whether you stay or leave as a result... Well then, this is the office for you! The reception staff are lovely, and frankly deserve better than what the building owners give them. The worst part is, they renovate the parts of the building that can be seen when you visit, but not the parts that are critical for when you actually have to work in it. If you saw one of these offices and thought "that looks nice"... Well, it's a trap. Run away!

I've been working from the shared co-working space at The Quad, Cambridge for the past five months and have had a really positive experience. It's a spacious, well-managed environment that's ideal for focused work, with a good variety of communal desks and café-style seating. Will, who manages the site, does a fantastic job—he keeps the space tidy, is always responsive, and creates a welcoming atmosphere for everyone. One suggestion I’d offer to the wider management team is to consider reinstating the private meeting or "telephone" booths. Their removal has made it more difficult to take online meetings in a quiet and private setting, which is an increasingly important need in shared workspaces. Overall, it’s a great spot for co-working, and I’d highly recommend it to others looking for a flexible and professional environment in Cambridge.

I survived initial issues with their accounting department… however, the on-location team (especially Will) is great. Comfortable and nice amenities. Hoping they bring back the call booths!

We rented an office in Quad(then Citibase) for 2 years. The service was shocking, there was no hot water for the entire 2 years in the kitchen, they got us lured into a contract with a low rent and kept increasing it by £300 every year and to top it all they charged us £932 for a "end of tenancy cleaning" for an office that didn't need a ny work done. When asked for an itemised invoice the management team didn't respond for months as they knew they cannot justify the bill. We asked them to take it out of our security deposit which they did and 4 months on after moving out of the office space and paying this deposit we are still receiving credit control emails for this money. It appalling that a big company management team is this incompetent. Stay away from renting from this company!

Very friendly concierge, although we did had some issues with the cleaning staff and the toilets. Right near the city centre so very good location.
