An amazing place to work. Karen has created a brilliant space which is stylish and welcoming and most importantly of all it has a great community. I have picked up work from networking with other business who work there. So not only is it a great place to work, it is a great place to build new relationships. I would highly recommend it for anyone needing a change from their desk at home. It is also located in a beautiful setting surrounded by fields with horses! A great way to start and end the working day seeing these surroundings.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I first joined The Residence when it was based at Newport, and I'm so glad it has made the move to Bishop's Stortford — because everything that made it special has come with it. The community spirit here is genuinely unlike any other coworking space I've been to. Everyone is warm, welcoming, and actually looks out for one another. It's a brilliant place to get your head down and do great work, but it never feels cold or corporate. The team have clearly put a lot of thought into creating an environment where people enjoy showing up every day — and it shows. Bonus points for being dog friendly too, which is a huge plus! I’d just landed at Stansted and needed somewhere reliable and comfortable to jump straight into a few work meetings.. The Residence was exactly what I was looking for. From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel incredibly welcome. The owner and staff were genuinely friendly, took the time to have a chat, and made sure I was settled in properly. They even kindly offered my first session free of charge, which was a thoughtful and much appreciated gesture. The location is ideal, especially if you’re coming from the airport, and the space itself is calm, well set up, and perfect for getting focused work done. I had a quiet area to myself and was able to be really productive. I’d highly recommend The Residence to anyone looking for a professional yet welcoming co-working space in the area. I’ll definitely be returning.

I’ve never been anywhere like it! As well as the incredible facilities (they’ve literally thought of everything by the way), the warm welcome I received and the super fast wifi… this place is just mega. For anyone looking to work in a new space, mingle with other like minded people, stroke dogs AND tuck into a few tasty snacks along the way, get booked in!
