Had a beautiful facial in prep for my friends wedding. Receptionist was lovely on the phone and Emily who did my treatment was amazing! So helpful, kind and knew her stuff. Would 100% recommend & will be back myself. Thank you ladies. Felt very comfortable xx

Most terrible service in Devon. Have you ever booked a table for Valentine’s Day, arrived on time, and… been kicked out? No? Well, my wife and I now have this unique experience, thanks to Restaurant Winslade park Here’s what happened. I booked a table for 5:30 PM, but the day before, they called and said, “Oops, sorry, we can only take you at 5 PM.” Fine, I agreed, but I warned them that I might be a little late. On the day of the visit, I called five hours in advance and let them know I’d be there at 5:30 PM. Everything seemed fine, right? Well, we arrived at the restaurant, and the hostess greeted us with, “You’re late.” I explained the situation, and she replied, “No one told me that.” She promised to “sort it out” but instead went behind a door and whispered to her colleague, asking him to refuse us a table and kick us out. How’s that for customer service? Her colleague didn’t hesitate—he came over and confidently told us our table had already been given away. But it was empty! And we still had at least 1.5 hours to enjoy a glass of wine and a meal! But apparently, he decided that this wasn’t enough time. Seriously? Who gets to decide how long my dinner should be? So, the evening was ruined, and so was our mood. Congratulations, Restaurant Winslade park — your staff did everything possible to show complete disregard for customers. I hope management takes notice because treating guests like this is simply unacceptable.

Christmas party venue. Friendly helpful staff, really excellent food to say its mass catering. Roast beef was outstanding as were the desserts. Bar staff knowledgeable and friendly. Really do recommend this as a party venue.

We attended a corporate event, including meal with evening entertainment hosted by Winslade Park. The function room was very nice, bathed in evening sun and spacious with views out to the park. The food was really fantastic and restaurant quality, not the usual dishes that get churned out at a big event. The three courses were presented and prepared with a chefs attention to detail, and very enjoyable. Our evenings entertainment was Roulette and Blackjack, with a live band playing. Everything was well organised and great fun. On arrival you enter through an atrium off to one side of the manor. With high ceilings and lots of glass, that area leads onto various fiction rooms. It is shown on the website as a very different architect's rendering, so I guess that's part of a planned redevelopment. At present there is an industrial and unfinished feel to the area, with exposed concrete and cabling as you enter the function rooms. The function room we were in opened onto a veranda, so drinks could be enjoyed in the evening summer sun before dinner. The original 60s/70s concrete extension houses this room plus extends upwards a few floors. They don't appear on the website either, and we sat overlooked by aging rooms and scaffolding, which detracted slightly from the excellent event. There is lots of modernising going on, and the manor house looks very impressive as you walk past it from the car park. An interesting place.

Absolutely outstanding service, fabulous food and superb venue to celebrate my birthday. Everything was perfect. Thank you so much for the happiest time, captured in many photos and in the memory bank forever!
