Complaints & Takedown Policy

Last updated: 4 November 2026

1. Introduction

Right Space is committed to addressing reasonable concerns about information and content published on its directory.

This policy explains how to report inaccurate, inappropriate, unlawful or potentially infringing material.

2. What Can Be Reported?

Complaints may relate to:

  • Incorrect venue descriptions or contact details.
  • Outdated pricing or facilities information.
  • Unauthorised use of photographs or other copyrighted material.
  • Trademark or intellectual property concerns.
  • False or misleading representations.
  • Duplicate or incorrectly attributed listings.
  • Offensive or unlawful content.
  • Unauthorised listing ownership claims.
  • Personal information published inappropriately.

3. How to Submit a Complaint

Please email admin@right-space.com with:

  • Your name and contact information.
  • The relevant listing or page URL.
  • A description of the issue.
  • Details of the correction or action requested.
  • Supporting evidence where available.
  • Your relationship to the venue or content, where relevant.

We may request additional information to verify a complaint.

4. Response Times

We aim to acknowledge complaints within two working days.

We aim to resolve straightforward correction and removal requests within five working days.

Complex complaints, ownership disputes or legal issues may require additional time.

These are service targets rather than guaranteed deadlines and do not override any applicable statutory requirements.

5. Investigation and Action

We will consider complaints fairly and proportionately.

Depending on the circumstances, we may:

  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Request evidence from the relevant operator.
  • Temporarily restrict disputed content.
  • Remove photographs or other materials.
  • Amend or remove a listing.
  • Decline a request where there is a lawful and justified reason to retain content.

6. Intellectual Property Complaints

Rights holders should identify the relevant material, explain the rights they own or represent and provide sufficient information for us to assess the complaint.

We may remove disputed content while the matter is reviewed.

7. Listing Removal Requests

A venue operator may request removal of an unclaimed listing.

We will assess the request, taking account of its circumstances, applicable rights and legal obligations.

Right Space does not guarantee automatic removal of every publicly sourced listing solely because an operator requests it.

8. Disagreements and Further Review

If you disagree with our decision, you may request a further review by explaining why you believe the outcome should be reconsidered and supplying any additional evidence.
